- What type of jobs do you do?
We can handle anything and everything! Junk removal, furniture and
household items removal, hot tub dismantling and removal, construction
debris cleanup, yard debris cleanup, office cleanouts and moves, storage
unit cleanout, appliance removal, hoarder clean up, attic and basement
cleanouts and more! No job is too big or small for us!
- What type of jobs DON’T you do?
We cannot remove or haul hazardous materials such as oil, gasoline, chemicals,
etc. Please contact your local waste management agency and they
will inform you how to best remove those items.
- How do you charge?
We pride ourselves in being able to offer you the lowest prices in the
area. We charge simply by the volume of the truck used. Gas,
labor and disposal fees are all included in the estimate given.

- How can I pay you?
We accept checks, cash and major credit cards. We will be happy to provide
you with an invoice upon request.
- Is “Git Rid of It” Licensed and Insured?
Absolutely! Our business is licensed with the State of Virginia
and has Commercial General Liability Insurance. Our vehicles
and employees are also insured.
- What areas do you service?
MD - Montgomery County, Prince George’s County
VA - Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Prince William
County
Washington D.C.
- When are your hours of operation?
Generally, we work 6am to 7pm, Monday - Saturday. Because we are a family owned business, we have more flexible hours than most junk removal companies. We will work around your schedule!
- Do I need to be home/ at the location when the job is being
done?
We prefer that someone be at the location of the job being done when we
arrive, but we know how hectic schedules can be. Call Mike at 703-533-0094

- Where does my junk go?
What cannot be recycled will be properly disposed of at local landfills.
- What type of hot tubs do you remove, and is there any preparation
required?
We only remove free standing hot tubs. Those built into a deck, gazebo,
or enclosure of any kind we cannot remove. The hot tub must be drained,
and the electricity must be disconnected by you or a licensed electrician,
and there's usually a quick disconnect on the side of the house. We also
need a clear path to access the hot tub.
